REPORT OF A CASE

A 15-year-old girl presented with a 3-year history of a slowly enlarging nasal ala nodule. Other than its obvious appearance, the mass was completely asymptomatic. The patient had no significant medical history and no pertinent family history.

On physical examination, a nodule measuring 9 mm in diameter was observed at the right nasal ala. The nodule, which was firm and nontender, had overlying telangiectasias (Figure 1) and extended through the alar rim, presenting exteriorly as well as intranasally. After a preoperative biopsy, the nodule was excised with clear margins (Figure 2 and Figure 3).
